Our first night we boondock at a rest area and I'm excited to use our awesome little TV to relax after a day of driving. The staples supporting the access panel popped out from a little weight. I put my hand on the bed to get up and an entire access panel underneath collapses. The ones on the beds are in random states of screwed in or missing.
Screws don't even match in same areas (random assortment of stainless, button head, black screws like they're just grabbing them out of a junk drawer). Every screw head is dinged up like it's been out 3-4 times. Fit and finish is terrible, sure, I've heard thats normal. Get it home and we're so excited! Start to notice the build quality (or lack thereof).

The user manual refers to an engine auto-start. The spec sheet says it has a generator/alternator, which as a newbie I saw "generator cool!", but that just means the engine will charge the batteries while it runs. Neither the sales guy nor the tech giving me the walk through were aware of this change. Taking delivery and find that Thor stopped putting generators in the Sequence in 2022 because of "supply chain issues", but attest that their lithium ion batteries are so good that you don't need one (spoiler: you do). I succumbed to an impulse buy when "looking" at Class B's, and ended up buying a 2022 Thor Sequence 20L three weeks ago. Seems like I'm not the only person who's posted something like this but figured I'd do it anyhow to help someone else.
